Diese Wagen wurden ca 1922 gebaut ähnlich der 1200 Serie von Third Avenue Railway System jedoch mit anderer Fensterteilung.
Die Type Z entstand aus den Wagen (Baujahr ca 1939) der Serie 600 von Third Avenue Railway System.
